Are you tired of corporate-style veterinary practice? Frustrated at not seeing the same vet each time? Well look no further, the old times are rolling back. We at Blaircourt Pet Clinic believe in providing excellent veterinary care in a caring and relaxed environment with a strong emphasis on continuity of care.
Katherine Bott is our dedicated small animal vet who is committed and passionate in caring for your pet. The modern clinic provides an ideal setting for both owners and animals, being set in beautiful countryside with plenty of parking space. The building itself has been designed to provide both space and light whilst creating an ideal environment for cutting edge veterinary care.
At Blaircourt we try to put an emphasis on preventative care as we believe ‘Prevention is better than cure!’ but we are fully equipped to deal with most aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery. We have a spacious area for case work up, diagnostics and non sterile procedures as well as a separate sterile operating theatre.
We have an in-house laboratory and x-ray and ultrasound equipment for diagnostic work-ups. Should a case need referral to a specialist centre for more complicated procedures or further diagnostics such as MRI/CT we have good relationships with several such hospitals. We also now offer in-house medicine and orthopaedic referrals service with Andria Cauvin and James Creasey, who will come to the practice for consultations, scans, endoscopes and specialist surgery.
We aim to minimise stress to our patients as much as possible and this is aided by the rural location, kennel room with views over open fields and friendly, approachable staff, and Katherine is always available on the phone for informal chats or advice about your pet.
Please feel free to drop in at any time for a quick tour of the premises or a chat with Katherine or Penny our dedicated small animal nurse.
